Work Wear!

Did you catch my Back-to-School Style post yesterday? I promised all of you non-students (or working students, like myself!) that I'd have something here for you today - and I do! I put together some work wear looks for a few different office dress codes. Personally, I teach preschool, and my dress code goes something like whatever you don't care about getting paint, flubber, and boogers on. Still, I put together some looks for those of you in the normal workforce, and I hope you can find a look here that fits in at your workplace!

Work Wear: Professional

Blazer / Shell / Pants / Flats / Briefcase / Necklace / Earrings / Ring / Watch

Work Wear: Creative Professional

Work Wear: Aloha Friday
Cardigan / Blouse / Skirt / Heels / Necklace / Earrings / Bag

How about you? What's your go-to outfit for work?

The Big 2-5

{Shirt: Luna | Skirt: Babooshka etsy shop | Black socks worn as tights: Steve Madden | Red socks: We Love Colors | Wedges: Modcloth | Bracelets: Betsey Johnson (gift), Tory Burch (gift), J. Crew | Watch: Nordstrom}

On Saturday night, some friends and I went to Sgt. Pepper's Dueling Pianos in Long Beach to celebrate my 25th birthday! After trying on approximately 500 different outfits on, I went for this mixed pattern look. I think if I start planning my outfit for the big 2-6 now, I MIGHT be able to figure something out sometime over the next 365 days. Suggestions welcome, in advance.

I'm also guest posting today over at The In-Between! Check it out!

By the way... Have you entered my Shabby Apple Cameo Necklace Giveaway yet?

Mini skirt. Take 2. (24/30)

{Top: Zara | Necklace: Vintage (Aunt's)| Skirt: Billabong via Laguna Surf & Sport | Belt: Urban Outfitters | Shoes: Kohl's | Socks: We Love Colors}
This is what my hair looks like after a warm, muggy, frizz-inducing day. Nothing says "ombre" hair like a blonde waterfall spouting out of a brown head. You're so very welcome.

When I came down the stairs in this outfit, my mom laughed. I think it was the (very) mini skirt + socks with heels combo. Or was it the nappy ponytail? Either way, it kind of made me laugh, too.

Let's see if I can remix this brown belt a 50th time in the next week. Also, let's see if I can remix this white top a 100th time in the next week... Wish me luck.

Floral ruffles + reasons to celebrate! (13/30)

{Dress, Cardigan, & Butterfly Ring: Forever 21 | Socks: We Love Colors | Heels: Kohls | Bracelets: Vintage & Boutique | Other Rings: Vintage & House of Harlow}
I love my outfit today! I've had this dress for a couple of years, and the last time I wore it was to my cousin's Baptism 2 years ago. I'm always happy when I can "recycle" a cute dress!

It's a beautiful Southern California day - high 70s into the low 80s, with a light breeze and tons of sunshine! I'm off today to two celebrations - a bridal shower tea for my friend Katelyn (who is getting married in October - and I'm a bridesmaid!) and my best friend/little sister Holly's family graduation party! I can't wait!

Inspired by... (12/30)

{Shirt & Socks: Target | Pants: Gap | Shoes: Kohls | Scarf: Vintage}
This look was totally inspired by Kristine. In trying to up my adorable quotient, I tied this scarf in a bow on my head and wore socks with my heels a la one of my favorite blogger friends! If only I now lived in Japan, too, and this look didn't elicit odd stares from those around me.
