{Shirt: J. Crew | Sweater & Belt: Nordstrom | Jeans: Urban Outfitters | Flats: Tory Burch |
I wore this last week, before I got hit smack-dab in the face by the flu. I've never gotten a flu shot, but I'm thinking that years and years of wiping snotty noses has caught up with me, and I may need to get one next season.
Though you may not be able to tell by the washed-out face in these photos (thank you very much, almost-broken camera), and though it's hard for me to believe, I once wasn't a bed-ridden sickling.
There's something about a button-down/pullover/skinny belt combination that is just classic and makes me feel good. I'm not sure it screams "Dani!" but I do think it's a flattering look!
Now, back to my liquid diet...
Please get well soon! Such a cute blog!

Hi Dani!
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely to meet you :) I am so glad you came across my blog! Thanks so much for for following! I am actually an Orange County girl too! I was born in Long Beach, but raised in the Cypress area :) I go to school in the midwest- but i'm graduating in May. However, I noticed you work at a preschool! That is what I do here at college, and I absolutely love it! I'm going to be a teacher next year, actually! probably elementary aged… but, I know how hard it can be to be fashionable when you're sitting on the floor all the time and reading books or playing dress up with toddlers, haha. So anyway, that being said- I love your style! I'm so glad to have a fellow OC girl and fellow blogger as a blog friend! I am your 174th follower :) I can't wait to see more of your outfit posts!

The Tiny Heart
Eeh I wasn't sure if anyone could see the necklace in these washed-out photos! Haha. It's from a Huntington Beach boutique called Luna - they do online ordering through their Facebook page!

You are so cute! Even with the flu! I just found your blog through the Tiny heart and I love it. You're adorable! Following you now!
ReplyDeleteYikes! I'm so sorry you were sick! No fun! Yes, I agree...a button up under a sweater is effortless. Get the flu mist next year...it just squirts up your nose! XO!
