Ok, so my title isn't entirely truthful. I was dressed up with technically 2 places to go:
1. My work's parent-teacher mixer. Why teachers should be expected to mix with parents is a question beyond my comprehension, but alas, I drank 3 glasses of wine and "mixed" for an hour and a half.
2. Out to a bar in Long Beach with my best friend Holly. I was planning to change into jeans for the outing, but was strongly urged by my coworkers to keep this outfit on. Holly and I hung out there for a bit, but ultimately decided to leave early, drive through Burger King, and have a late-night snack at my kitchen table.
And a good time was had by all.
You look so pretty in your going out outfit! I have a striped skirt from F21 that is almost exactly the same as yours. :)
