When eShakti contacted me about doing a product review on my blog, I was super excited! I was instantly attracted to their motto: "Your style, your size, your shape. Your choice." Their philosophy - empowering women not only through their clothes, but through the overall shopping experience of their site - is seriously appealing!
When I went onto their site, I was impressed, but also overwhelmed! Their options are seemingly endless! Once I finally narrowed down my options, I was torn between a short-sleeve maxi dress and this tunic. I went for the tunic because I figured I'd get more use out of it!
All of eShakti's pieces are completely customizable - they come in sizes 0-26W, and can be completely customized to your specific measurements, along with sleeve length, neck, and hemline adjustments. How awesome is that? I know I was super excited about it due to my (*ahem*) larger chest size. It's nice to be able to have a top that doesn't pull across the front or show too much cleavage! Plus, pieces are shipped within 3 business days, and arrive in 7-8, even for customizations!
When my tunic came, I was a little surprised, because I'll admit, it didn't look exactly like I'd expected. The shop doesn't show their pieces on models, only mannequins, so it was slightly difficult to discern the fit of the garments. Also, it came packaged in plastic, and smelled a little, well, plastic-y. After a quick wash, I'm pleased to say this top is great! The color is rich, the fabric is both durable and soft, and the fit is perfect! I'm excited to remix the piece with different styling - add some belts and other items to mix in. Overall, I'm totally pleased with eShakti, and looking forward to giving their site another try, perhaps with some of their more unique pieces!
I'd certainly suggest checking them out - head over to eShakti and see what all the fun is about! :) Use the code DAILYDANI0811 for $20 off through October 31!
The color and style looks great on you, Dani! I'm loving that necklace... was it a recent purchase? I'm kind of nuts about triangles lately. eShakti sounds neat, will go check it out now.
