Maxi/Plaid.

{Shirt: American Apparel | Skirt: Luna | Sandals: O'Neill via Huntington Surf & Sport}

Pretty much in love with this outfit. Not only is it so incredibly comfy, I just really like how it looks! The hardly fishtail hemline, the soft feel and slim fit of the skirt, the bright pattern of the shirt... I can't complain. I'm wearing 2 pieces that I've been searching for for ages: a maxi skirt that isn't too long for my height-challenged frame, and a short-sleeve plaid shirt that doesn't make me look like a dude. Ding ding ding! (Who knew I'd find the un-dude shirt in the men's section?)

I do, however, pose another question to you: Why are men's buttons on the opposite side?
Update (and Answer): My dear friend Kelsey informed me that because men would dress themselves and women would be dressed, the buttons were facing opposite so it was easier for servants. You learn something new every day!

  3. I always wondered about the button thing myself. I really like that plaid shirt. The colors are great. I'm really surprised you find it in the guy's section. Just goes to prove that you have to look everyone when searching for that perfect piece of clothing.
