"Casual" Friday

Some people refer to wearing jeans on Fridays as "Casual" Friday. I'd like to refer to this particular Friday as "Exhausted" Friday, or "Lazy" Friday, or "Dead Tired Friday." I, being the responsible adult that I am, stayed up a bit too late on Thursday night and was not happy to wake up at 5:30am Friday, so I took advantage of a Friday jeans day. (FYI: The teachers at my school seem to consider every day Casual Friday, but I am keeping up my "teacher clothes" persona up as long as I can!) I figured that a flared leg kicks denim up a notch, so I pulled these wide-leg babies out of the back of my closet and they are officially back in the rotation!

I actually really liked this outfit, but I looked so tired in all of the photos that this is all you get! ;)

100 Years Old!

This is what I wore to my grandma's 100th birthday party. 100 YEARS OLD! Can you even imagine? My dad threw her a little party at Zen Buffet, and I got to eat Chinese food and hang out with my cousins from New York, which was great.

Also, I really liked my outfit. I actually picked it out the morning-of! (Very unusual for me; I plan my outfits at least a week in advance... Stop judging me...) I was thinking about wearing this skirt with a button-down and sweater, but, per usual, it was about a million degrees that day, so I had to swap the long-sleeve for a t-shirt, and I think it worked out well!

Plus, is there anything that a statement necklace and desert boots won't make better? Answer: No.

This is what I wore on Saturday night to the Yost Theater in Santa Ana for Melissa's birthday! It's an electronic dance music club, which as I've stated before (probably 100x), I'm totally not into! Haha. But a few of us found a little "hip hop" room where we spent a lot of the night, and ended up having a ton of fun dancing!

Mini Houndstooth. Mini Facts.

Au Francais. One of my most favorite prints/art that I have on my wall is a French High Fidelity poster I found in a random shop I happened upon in a little hidden alley in Paris.

Kling-On. In 9th grade, my boyfriend and I bumped heads at lunch, which caused my forehead to swell up into the size of a grapefruit, and later drain down into my face causing two black eyes. I still have a small bump above my eyebrow.
