Happy Valentines Day, my dear kittens. I'm not one of those ho-hum, anti-love, "I hate Valentine's Day" kind of gals. Despite my profound ability to be perpetually single, I always love to wear red and pink and hearts on V-Day and spread the love!

Also, sparkly hearts really please the preschoolers.

So, one might ask, what would the average person do after spending five days in the desert looking like a hippie? Well, truth be told, I don't know what the average person might do, but my first instinct was to go in my own direction of hippie. In People Stylewatch, they did a multi-page spread on Reese Witherspoon's style, which made me kind of prep-obsessed, so I went right for the boatneck striped tee, cuffed jeans, flats, and peacoat!

Once again, I'm wearing these fabulous Voet Hosiery Lingerie Toes! They look white in the photo, but they're really a nude/light tan color. I think they add such an elegant touch to any outfit. I still need to find an occasion to dress them up. You know what that means? I need a day away from work!

Jury Duty.

Well, today I had Jury Duty. Much to my dismay, I was assigned and will have it through the rest of the week and into next week. The judge didn't think that I would starve to death from missing 1 day of work. His actual words, not mine.

The highlight of having Jury Duty is being able to get mildly dressed up. That's about the only thing about my "civic duty" that I'm now looking forward to.

My mom was lucky enough to still be asleep when I woke up at the crack of dawn in pure darkness and self-timed myself. Thanks, auto color adjust. I think I'm getting a smidgen better at the whole self-timer thing.

I'm once again wearing fabulous Voet Hosiery Lingerie Toes! They were the most perfect compliment to these leopard mini-wedges.

Here's to another courtside outfit tomorrow... If only I were courtside at the Staples Center rather than the Santa Ana Courthouse... Tragic.

Lingerie Toes!

One might ask, "What should I wear to take 4 kids to a birthday party and slide down a 50-foot inflatable slide with them?" I would answer, "This." I'm a huge fan of Chaser LA, their vintage-inspired tees are super soft, lightweight, and comfortable! I'm also a huge fan of these pants. I've had them since I was about 15, and I fondly refer to them as my "salmon pants." They are the perfect pants to wear when you think assume that no one is going to be looking at your legs.

Now, onto more important things...

I was so thrilled when Chelsea, social media rep for Voet Hosiery (and fellow high school and college alumna), contacted me about these adorable Lingerie Toes! She sent me a few pairs, and I must say - they are too cute! I thought yesterday (hence the inflatable slide) was a perfect day to wear these, since I'd be shoeless, plus they gave an adorable touch to my flats!
