Misleading.

Warning: the internet is a misleading place. I bought these jeans from Forever 21's website, and even though they were called "acid wash," the photo looked straight-up mint. I know mint is really in right now, and I've also been obsessed with sea foam green forever. It's my favorite. So, I decided I needed it. Like I often do with online ordering, I ignored the product name & all other warning signs, and ordered the pants. And looky here: they are straight-up acid washed. Fail. Nevertheless, I liked this layered look, and it kept me mostly warm on the one day this week we were graced with winter weather.

Now, out into the 90-degree heat... Misery.

    I love the outfit and layers...and especially those shoes...As lame as it is to admit..I don't think i would be bold enough to wear those. Love them!

    I still like the jeans even if they are acid washed! The color is fabulous! I was a bit addicted to ordering from F21's website but I recently had to return 2 items since they were huge on me so I think I may have to stick to shopping at the store. And I will trade your 90 degree weather for my 50 degrees today (it was 70 yesterday, sigh).

    I actually didn't realize until I read your post that those jeans aren't actually mint, haha, so I guess I would have been fooled too. Regardless, I think they're still super cute, and I love how you've paired them with all those layers. The leather jacket makes you look like such a rock star.

    Oh my goodness I love it. You're so brave... I'm always scared to order clothes online because I'm afraid they won't fit me and I'll have to send them back. {Obviously I need to work on my adventrous spirit, right!}

    Oh I hate when something you are super excited about getting in the mail turns out to look differently than you thought. I honestly don't think these look bad though, they aren't mint, but they are super cute!
