Please welcome Emma of behind the leopard glasses to The Daily Dani! I "met" Emma (virtually) through a blogger friendship bracelet swap a few months ago! She sent me the most divine Italian string wish bracelets that I have worn every day since! Through blogging and Twitter and Instagram, Emma & I have become fast blogging buddies! :)

Eclectic, bright, vintage
What is your favorite/most versatile accessory?
My glasses! I can't get enough of switching them up! Some people think it is a burden to wear glasses everyday. I can honestly say I enjoy it, mainly because I have such a wide variety to choose from!
As a student/young professional, how do you find a balance between fashion and comfort/professionalism/appropriateness?
This is a tough one, when I first started working as a graduate assistant at my past alma mater I was really confused about where my style fits into an office atmosphere at a place where I had pink hair only a few years ago. I felt like everyone dressed in grays and I stood out in my mostly patterned wardrobe. After some navigation, I think I have found a balance with more skirts that allow mixing of patterns and slight additions of leopard print. =) It is definitely hard but doable. As long as you are comfortable with your style and confident in your position, it is possible.
I splurge on arm candy and bags and save on makeup. I can't wait for a big girl paycheck so I can get some of my dream bags! I don't change up my makeup ever really. I am a cover girl, but recently into BirchBox samples.
What are some of your favorite places to shop?
Thrifting! I love the thrill of digging through to find some hidden treasures. You never know what you are going to find. I like wearing things that other people don't really like (haha) or would first see and say, "who would buy that" ----> this girl. In normal stores I love to shop the sales because there are treasures there too! I also am addicted to online shopping. Most recently I have discovered Frock Candy and Fancy French Cologne (scored some amazing DV patent leather loafers for $30!). Love their selections!
