On a recent trip to the mall (I kind of feel like an 11-year-old and/or a Canadian pop star saying I went on a trip to the mall), I kind of fell in love with the Portofino blouses at Express. They were on sale, so it's a wonder I didn't walk off with the entire collection of prints… I settled for a couple (and then a couple more online…), one being this perfect polka dot print! Then I found this denim pencil skirt in my mom's closet (everything old is new again!) and I had the perfect, teacher-y outfit to wear to work!
Sure, this outfit may have looked a little more done-up and body-elongating with a pair of pointy-toed pumps, but you try wearing heels for 7+ hours while trying to corral 32 third graders…

I remember those 13-year-old days where it was cool to go to the mall without your mom and even cooler if you met up with some punk boys. ha ha! the good ol' days. Dani, you are such a babe! And I reaallly want your hair;)
