Style - Coast to Coast: Girls Night Out

Ta-da! I am so excited to finally share with you a little project that my blogging bestie Sarah and I have had in the works for awhile! [P.S. Sarah and I are pretty much soulmates separated by miles - I may have flown halfway across the country to see her... no big deal...]
The concept of Style - Coast to Coast? Each month, Sarah and I will put our own twist on an occasion, trend, or outfit inspiration and share how we compare with you all! I am born and raised on the West Coast, Sarah is born and raised on the Gulf Coast! We love to see how our demographics affect our fashion choices. Yes, flip-flops, cut-offs, and distressed tees are probably appropriate for just about any occasion in Southern California, but they don't have to be - and maybe shouldn't be, either! ;)

Our February theme for Style - Coast to Coast? Girls Night Out, of course! If you are single ladies like Sarah and I, what better way to celebrate Valentine's Day than dinner, drinks, and dancing out with your girlfriends?

While I never quite mind theme dressing, I thought to be different, I'd steer clear of the typical red and pink usually reserved for Valentine's Day, and grab some attention with a beautiful light blue, some rainbow gems, and my favorite floral wedges! A little bling-bling, a hint of sparkle, and some uber-girly heels bring just the right amount of sass to an outfit for GNO, and just the right amount of sweetness to still represent the lovey-dovey nature of this holiday!

And ladies, if you are as big of a SATC fan as I am, you know that your gal pals are your real soulmates... whether they live down the street or across the country! ;)

Nobody rocks tomboy chic like Sarah does! I love how she also strayed from the classic red-and-pink overtly girly look. Her purple hues are divine, her classic accessories as the perfect compliment, and secret time - can you believe these jeans are from the men's section?! Way to rock it, lady! Don't forget to head over to Sarah's blog, Think Twice Style, to check out her Coast to Coast post and more of her fabulous looks!

Also, we'd love it if you'd spread the word about our Style - Coast to Coast feature by pinning the below image! Thanks, y'all!
