2013 Grammy Awards - Fashion!

Ahhh, the Grammys. The most upscale of music awards, and the typically most shocking of prime time awards shows. After all of the Grammy "dress code" warnings, I was pleasantly surprised with the taste level displayed this year! There were very few horrifying moments, and a whole lot of great style!

My Favorites
Kaley: After Kaley's SAG Awards fiasco, I'm so happy to see her look so adorable tonight! I like that she kept within the rocker chic vibe, went classic rock & roll with those leather pants, and pumped up the volume with such an fun tux jacket! // Adele: Impeccable talent shows us impeccable fashion! This print is quirky and adorable, the fit is perfect, and I actually love the matchy shoes. So cute!  // Bonnie: I can't believe I'm saying this, but just ignore her hair. Yikes to the hair. But WOW to the dress - it's seriously beautiful! The juxtaposition of the rocker studs with the beautiful flowy white is so pretty, and it first her perfectly. I really like this dress! // Alexa: Oh, isn't she always just adorable? You can always count on Alexa to pull out a perfectly precious, kitschy little charmer!

More Fashionable Females
Maria: Maria really knows how to rock it most of the time! This look has the potential to be over-the-top monochromatic with so much yellow and gold, but she really looks stunning! // Beyonce: After showing a whole lot of everything at the Super Bowl last weekend, I'm so glad Beyonce went demure and toned down the sexed-up vibe by covering up and wearing pants. // Karlie: I'm really not a Karlie Kloss fan, and I'm not usually a cut-outs fan, and I really think Karlie needs to eat a sandwich, but she looks great in this dress, and the color is really pretty. // Estelle: I have a feeling I could get some flack for this, but I think this is a cool look. The pattern is unique, I like the silhouette of the cropped top and maxi skirt, and I like that she kept her hair toned down to pair beautifully with this ensemble. Agree or disagree, I'm into it!

Not So Fabulous...
Katy: Oh, Katy. Someone didn't get the message about not showing too much boob. The color is beautiful, but I hate the boobage, and I hate that old lady granny applique up top. Also, her hair looks a little too soccer mom blowout for me. Oh well, better luck next time. // Janelle: I get it; she was trying to be kind of alternative. This is way too matador. Minus the chic. Reminds me of when Pepito dresses up as a matador in Madeline. // Lupe: Wtf? // D'Manti: I have no clue whom this is, but homegirl needs a slip.

Dapper Gentlemen: Classic
Mario: Very cute. I like that he strayed from the traditional black or gray. AC Slater would be appalled. // Hunter: How precious is this child? His outfit is like a modern-day baby Johnny Cash, and I love that he kept it young with the Converse. So cuuuuteeee! // Diplo: The man is wearing Burberry, Givenchy, and Louboutin shoes. Need I say more? // Trey: Well, he just looks so handsome! Great look, great classic fit! // Sway: I am definitely digging this gray suit, and I love the pops of pink and purple in his tie, pocket square, and shoelaces! // Ed: Another good luck with a nice navy, keeping it fresh with the sneaks. Nice looks, gentlemen!

 Dapper Gentlemen: Quirky
Being that I'm from Orange County, a bustling hipster metropolis, I'm partial to some quirky male fashion. Mumford & Sons: They may or may not look like homeless gentlemen popping in for a quick bite, but they look pretty darn good. Disheveled chic, if you will. // fun.: Well, so much for socks! They all look adorable. I like that they each look great while still expressing their own styles. // Frank Ocean: So cute! I think Frank took the most risks with his outfit tonight, as far as the gentlemen are concerned. His monochromatic look is great, and I feel like the neckline is a bit of a '60s throwback. // Guy Sebastian: Half classic, half quirk! Classic tux jacket + man jeggings + a beanie = pretty darn cute! (Also, I have no idea whom he is!)

So what do you all think? Do you agree/disagree? Who were your favorites this year? Who did I leave out?
