Friday's Fancies: Hit the Slopes!

{sweater / tee / leggings / boots / mug / socks / studs / turban (similar) / scarf}
This week's Friday's Fancies theme threw me a bit. Let's be honest: you couldn't find a less qualified person to talk about cold weather attire. I mean, what's snow? We had highs of 55 here for about two weeks and I thought I was going to die. Welp, we're back to 80-degree weather here, in February, which is just kind of disgusting. My friends in the Upper Midwest make fun of me for not being familiar with freezing weather. I consider it an accomplishment. (And, FYI, I was in snow once. By accident. I was 11. It snowed in May at 5th grade science camp, and I had to go on a hike in the forest for 4 hours. Don't tell me I don't know cold weather! Hahaha.)

Anyway, I can pretend, right? If I were stuck in the snow, or on a lighter note, curled up fireside in a swanky mountain lodge, I'd want to be the 3 Cs: comfy, casual, and cozy! What's comfier, more casual, or cozier than relaxing in leggings, a light sweater, and Ugg boots with a cup of tea? Plus, you have to mix in a little glam - and that's where these fabulous diamond studs come in to play!

  5. LOL, you California girls crack me up! But you did a fantastic job picking out what to wear curled up by the fire in a snow storm...like right now in Cincinnati! :-)
