Mission: Winterize

{Sweater & Watch: Nordstrom | Dress (worn as skirt): Urban Outfitters | Boots: Steve Madden | Bracelet: Craft Fair | Arrow ring: Luna | Sunglasses: Juicy Couture}

I've been seeing the whole "winterizing" trend lately - summer skirts with sweaters, shorts with tights, etc. I've wanted to do it, but record-breaking high temps in California made the thought basically nauseating. Luckily, we're cooling down a bit (to the '70s...) so I can try this out a bit! This maxi dress was one of my favorite summer purchases - so easy to wear! Who knew I could transition it into winter with a sweater and boots? When I bought these boots, I was a bit unsure about them. I didn't know if they were too boyish for my wardrobe/taste, or if the color was really neutral or there was something off about the chestnut shade. I was afraid they'd be a pair that would sit in my closet waiting to be worn, but turns out - they can basically be paired with anything - apparently, the possibilities are endless! Mission: Winterize: Accomplished!
