Brownie.

{Jacket & Watch: Nordstrom | Cropped shirt: Luna | Tank: American Apparel | Jeans: Hudson | Boots: Payless | Necklace: Forever 21}

Well, I sure am wearing a whole lot of brown in this outfit. This is one of my go-to tops that I also have in gray. It's super comfy, super easy, and I'm never uncomfortable with how I look in it!

Funny thing about these boots: I got them at Payless, maybe 4 or 5 years ago. They were one of my first pieces of fringed clothing. I wore them a few times, but once I got my Minnetonka boots, I kind of forgot about them. The other day, I was thinking, "I wish I hadn't given those Payless fringed boots away." Then, lo and behold, I was scouring my boots and discovered - I didn't! Haha. Case and point that I really need to get down to organizing my wardrobe...

P.S. Do you like my photo spot? This is the Kindergarten playground at my work. Can you tell that the first few photos were taken when I was fresh from getting ready, and the last few were taken after a day of teaching 3-year-olds? I look like I'm ready for a nap!

  1. Love all of the brown, however, you are wearing more layers than I could this weekend! It is crazy hot and humid here for November! NO FUN!

    ps you look cute in both pics, but I definitely know the feeling!

  2. Monochromatic looks are cool, so I am liking the browns. You look adorable in all the pics, but after a long day, I know exactly what you mean! Heather

  7. The varying shades of brown really work well together. Love your boots. Going to payless to see if they still have them.
