I'm basically obsessed with this outfit. It was a complete afterthought this morning, as the original outfit I planned was not working with this morning's freezing temperatures. (Why, yes, 50 degrees in Southern California is absolutely freezing.) I couldn't be happier with this "afterthought!"
I tend to shy away from all-black outfits, but this one just felt right to me. It was (keyword:) comfortable, but still looked sleek and pulled-together for me! I've been waiting for the right time to throw this belt into the mix, and I suppose there was no better time than the present! It brought a pop of color to an otherwise completely neutral outfit, and was a great for cinching the waist of one of my typical oversized tops! Also, I had these boots for a long time before I was comfortable wearing them, and they require exactly the right outfit to wear. This is one of those outfits!
What do y'all think - how do one-color or all-black outfits fare for you?
P.S. Fun fact: I wore this outfit all day, from 7am-1am... and discovered at about 11:30pm that there was a hole in the crotch of these leggings. Cute.
