{Cardigan: Luna | V-neck: American Apparel | Jeggings: Old Navy | Moccasins: Minnetonka | Necklace: Forever 21} |
A couple of weeks ago, I was browsing through the racks at Luna, and saw this "boyfriend" cardigan hanging in front of me. Initially, from afar, I thought it was a large-scale houndstooth. Then the closer I got, I realized it was leopard print. I tried it on, fell in love with the slim fit sleeves and comfortable knit, and bought it.
When I bought the sweater, it had been exceptionally warm here, so I tucked it into a drawer and decided to wait for the weather to cool. Today, it stayed pretty comfortably in the 60s, so I went ahead and wore it. When I walked downstairs, my mom jokingly asked, imitating one of the kids at work, "What does that spell?" And then I realized it: This is not leopard print. This is absolutely, most certainly, letters. Either I am visually impaired, incapable of recognizing patterns, or way too obsessed with leopard. You be the judge.
(Seriously, though? Letters? What is this?)
Haha I love this! At first glance, I thought it was leopard print too! Oh well, embrace the letters! You wear it well! :)
ReplyDeleteI am on a rampage trying to find some comfy, chunky sweaters/cardigans like this!!

ReplyDeleteDon't worry, brown and beige gets me all leopard-crazy, too. I think I see the word "after" spelled on their somewhere? Sorry I'm creepily staring at your sweater trying to make words out of it...

I actually didn't think it was leopard print but I definitely didn't realize it was letters. I thought it was just a cute little pattern of some sort.

Haha! You're eyes were showing you what you wanted to see. I love the cardigan. You don't see too many cardigans covered in letters.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! As a graphic designer, I love all things with lettering on it. Your cardigan is so stinkin' awesome! Forget leopard print, the alphabet's in da house. Where can I find one for myself? Sigh, we don't have a Luna.
ReplyDeleteIt's fantastic, that's what it is. I absolutely love this sweater. I think it's really great and looks oh so cozy. I'm a fan.
ReplyDeleteYou really made me laugh, though.
