Blogger Feature: Chelsea of zipped

I'm so excited to welcome Chelsea of zipped to The Daily Dani! She's absolutely stunning with impeccable style, and is quickly becoming one of my favorite bloggie friends - she's so beyond incredibly sweet! Hoping to meet up with her in the Central Midwest sooner rather than later! ;)

3 words to describe your personal style?
Comfortable, textural, and unassuming.

What is your favorite item in your closet?
I always say my Levi’s jeans, but lately I’ve been attached to this dusty rose sweater from Kensie I got a couple months ago. Perfect time of year to break it out!

What would you consider the 5 essential items to a fashionable wardrobe?
My newest favorite must-have is a striped top—they are so classic and versatile. A great black blazer is timeless paired with dark jeans, whether your cut is wide-leg or skinny, and then I would definitely recommend having a black maxi skirt! I have been wearing mine more than once a week. Lastly, a denim jacket. They are so rugged and have that effortless, vintage Americana feel.

Fashionably, what TV shows and movies have inspired you most?
I don’t watch TV, but I love romantic comedies from the nineties. The clothing is so simple and clean, and I love all the layered neutrals. Meg Ryan’s wardrobe in You’ve Got Mail is kind of boring in a totally cool way.

You recently made a major move - from Seattle to Minneapolis - how has your change of scenery affected your sense of style?
Right away, I noticed my style completely changed within the first week! I wanted to get rid of all my clothes and start fresh—over the summer I got into flowy, bohemian pieces, and now that I’m in such a different metropolitan area I am all about clean lines and masculine pieces to dress up or down. I can’t wait to see how my style continually evolves here!

Thanks, Chelsea! Everyone make sure to head on over to zipped to see more of Chelsea's perfect outfits and stunning photographs!
