Statement necklace

For a long day of work + babysitting, I decided on an easy-to-wear, comfortable outfit. Pink stripes make it all pop in contrast to my black jeans with lace backing and one of my favorite pairs of boots! I dusted off this necklace I bought about a year ago from Forever 21 to give my outfit some zest - and now I think I need to wear it over and over and over again!

Side note: I decided to participate in Kendi's 30 for 30 challenge next month! I've been following her blog for awhile, and have been admiring her ability to mix and remix the great pieces in her wardrobe! I can't wait to try it out and make the most of my own clothes! Maybe I'll finally be able to walk into one of my closets (yes, 1 of... don't judge!) and NOT think "I have nothing to wear!" Anxiously awaiting February 1! I'll post my 30 pieces here once I get them together! Yay!
