Mix & Match

{Shirt: byCorpus via Urban Outfitters | Shorts: Phanuel | Sandals: Jeffrey Campbell | Necklace: Forever 21}

Apparently, mixing prints is a gateway drug! Yesterday's fear of mixing a sliver of leopard with gingham has turned into stripes + floral + leopard! I truly like every piece in this outfit - from the sparkly stripes to the ditsy floral to the heavenly strappy flats. Each piece and pattern kept me smiling all day!

Side note: I made an amazing purchase last month - my "Stylit" planner via Beth Jones. If you haven't heard of this planner, you must must check it out! Not only does it have a monthly planner, but each week, there is a spot for your daily plans along with - here's the clincher - a lovely little figure to plan your outfits! I actually looked through my closet and planned my outfits for the entire month of January. Over the past few days, however, January has taken a wild turn for 70-80 degree weather! The unexpected summer weather has been lovely, though, aside from putting a damper on my wardrobe plans. February may have to be planned weekly rather than monthly!

And speaking of cupcakes, I'm off to to eat the final treat from my birthday batch.

  3. oh! I want to be wearing THIS right now. Not because its blizzarding here and i'd rather be in your shorts and sandals, but because the patterns! the colors! love it all.
