A little year ago, I met up with some of my best blogging ladies for a fun weekend in Louisiana! I did a lot of eating, a lot of bonding, and a decent amount of shopping, too! This skirt is one of my favorite purchases from that trip - I think that ombre, seafoam green, and aztec print just about scream Dani!

Isn't this statement necklace amazing? I'd pinned it (in real life, with an actual push pin, on an actual bulletin board) onto my inspiration board in my room awhile ago, just as a fun piece to admire and some bright-color inspiration. Then I kept seeing the image pop up on blogs and on Pinterest, so I finally (virtually) stalked it online until I found it on Piperlime, fell in love, and splurged! I think it will add a touch of glamor to anything I wear, even a cozy casual sweatshirt!

Are you sick of me wearing this gray sweatshirt yet? Too bad, because I'm not sick of wearing it! I bought it on a chilly day at the ginormous Forever 21 in Las Vegas. I'd been feeling kind of icky because my ampersand sweater was getting fuzz all over everything I owned. All I wanted to do was put on something comfy, shlubby, and super-soft... and then I found it in this sweatshirt! It's so soft; it feels like I've owned it for ten years, rather than ten weeks, and I want to wear it every second of every day! And sleep in it, too. (And hey, I even washed it today...)

Dainty Collar

This dainty little crocheted doily of a collar belongs to a sheer, daisy-printed peplum tank that I got over the summer. After purchasing, I realized peplums aren't quite the right silhouette for my body, but something told me not to get rid of the tank - and now I know why! I randomly decided to throw the tank on underneath my favorite super-soft sweatshirt. I wanted to add a feminine touch to an otherwise less-than-feminine outfit. Another dose of sporty chic, no?

Pumpkin Scarf + New White Converse

Oh boy, I love my new Converse. I'd forgotten how comfortable a classic sneaker really is! There are only 2 minor problems:

1. They are so stinkin' white! For the only time ever, I'm actually encouraging the kids at work to step on my feet! (But trust me, they don't really need any encouragement haha.)
2. With my new short hair and these sneaks, I keep fearing that I won't look feminine enough! I feel like if I don't completely embrace girly, I have to go the opposite and try to pull off boyish. Sigh. How do you all style your Converse?

But don't get me wrong - I LOVE THEM!
