Sonoma Cheese Trail

Over the course of our trip to Sonoma County, my mom and I visited 4 creameries, 1 cheese shop, a random farm in the middle of nowhere, a delish Chinese restaurant, a tour of a big ol' dairy farm, and some tasty clam chowder right on the bay! We had such a nice, relaxing trip, full of laughs, beautiful scenery, and... LOTS OF CHEESE!

Spots we visited & our favorite cheeses that we picked up!:

• Vella Cheese Company -  Pesto Jack
• Sonoma Cheese Factory
• The Epicurean Connection
• Peteluma Creamery - Garlic Curds, Garlic Quark (tastes like Spinach dip!), Lemon Quark (picked this up as a gift - it tasted just like cheesecake!) We also has some super yummy and creamy strawbery & lavender ice creams here!
• Cowgirl Creamery - Truffle Tremor (not actually a Cowgirl cheese, but we got it at their shop - AMAZING!)
• Point Reyes Farmstead - Bay Blue (I don't actually like blue cheese, but my mom loved this one!), Toma (supposedly the "perfect" cheese for grilled cheese!)

Yes, we went all-out on the cheese front. When in Rome- errr, when on the Sonoma Cheese Trail, do as the Sonoma Cheese Trailians do! ;)
