Polka Dots, Stripes, & Hair Inspiration

Every once in awhile, don't you just need to add a little fun to your look? In this case, fun equaled this polka dotted headscarf! Yes, I got called Rosie the Riveter for wearing it, but let's be honest, we all know that's a compliment, and at least nobody called me Barbara Bush...

While I change up my cut and color more often than some, I kind of lose the creativity when it comes to actual styles - I always want to incorporate cute headbands or bows or braids, but I either feel costume-y or silly! I'm always pinning styles to my Pinterest Hair inspiration board, but I think I need to become more of a styling risk-taker!

How about you all? How do you get yourselves out of a hairstyle rut?

  1. The bandana is cute! It's a little youthful for me, but it totally works for you. My hair is boring! ugh! Heather

  3. I love that elbow patches on the sweater! And I have short hair, so I'm a basic cut and color girl these days. Boring.
