Mustard.

{Cardigan: Target | Dress: Forever 21 | Belt: Kohl's | Sandals: Salt Water via Zappos | Watch: Urban Outfitters}

Under normal circumstances, I steer clear of mustard. I mean that more ways than one. I don't eat mustard. Not Dijon, not French's, not any type of mustard. I also don't wear the color mustard. I don't even really like the color mustard. I had one mustard dress about 5 years ago. I wore it one time. I don't even know why I wore it. I don't even like mustard.

But this cardigan works for me. Especially with purple. You all studied the color wheel at some time in your life, right? Hello, contrasting colors. My Salt Water sandals were a big hit at work, as the 3 little gals in Kindergarten all have them, too. I was so in with the in-crowd. (Suggestions welcome on other ways to wear these bright purple sandals.)

So, I'm okay with the color mustard now, I guess. But don't ever try to make me eat it.

  1. Yah for mustard cardis! Yours looks great with the purple dress and sandals too.

    These purple sandals would look cool paired with orange or red.

  3. Adorable!! :) I love the mustard on you. I have a love hate with the color mustard because I am blondish (like you) and I feel like I am trying to match my hair ha-ha... like to much of the same color, but when worn with contrasting colors like this, and not head to toe, I guess us blonds can pull it off, because you certainly do! Looks great!
