Tried & True Blue

{Tee: Victoria's Secret | Shorts: Mom's | Flip-flops: Rainbow | Necklace: F21 | Watch: Nordstrom}
Allow to me to let you all in on a little secret: I wear this t-shirt at least once a week, but I never photograph it! It's my go-to comfy tee for a full day of babysitting, or running errands, or a casual lunch/dinner. Today, as I'm finally seeing progress in growing my bangs out and thought my hair looked awesome, I decided to pose.

Allow me to let you all in on something else: I am beyond obsessed with Russian nesting dolls. I always have been, since I had a few when I was little. When I was about 16 or so, I passed up a matryoshka doll pin at the swap meet, and have regretted it ever since, forcing me to purchase everything I see of this nature from now on. Then again, I also passed up a table of super glittery ones on the street in NYC the last time I went, and cry about it every time I think about it. (If you know where I can find these, or DIY some for me, my love for you will never end!) This particular necklace is just quirky and whimsical, so I had to have it.

Secret #3: These seersucker shorts are my mom's. Well, now they're mine. She gave them to me, and after I cuffed them a couple of feet, they were fairly flattering. Welcome to my dresser.

  1. Indeed! Your hair looks gorgeous. I'm envious of the curls as I have straight (often kinky) hair and it's thick, curls don't stay on me unless done by a professional, which I am not. You know how I love royal blue lately. It's a pretty color on you and the seersucker is fantastic for summer. Have a lovely weekend, ma' dear!
