Blogger Feature: Kristine of Kristine or Polly

I must say, I'm pretty excited to have Miss Kristine of Kristine or Polly featured here on The Daily Dani! I've been following her fantastic, feminine, and fashionable outfits since before I started my blog. Not only is she incredibly stylish, but I must say - she is too sweet for words! :)

3 words to describe your personal style?
Quirky, colorful, girly!

What would you consider the 5 essential items to a fashionable wardrobe?

1. Black skinny jeans - they always make me feel so slim and put together!

2. A pair of bright heels

3. A striped tee

4. A colorful high-waisted, full skirt!

5. Scarves!

What is your go-to, never-fail outfit?
Hmm... lately, a striped tee and a floral skirt!

You are definitely a perfect model of modest fashion in the blogosphere. How do you maintain your modesty while still appearing fashionable? 
Well thank you :)  Maintaining modesty is definitely a challenge sometimes. But it's important to me, so I try to never compromise my modesty standards! For me, I try to focus on the silhouette, prints, or the colors of an outfit, rather than how much skin I am showing. When I go shopping nowadays, I like to think I have a sort of filter that makes me only pay attention to the skirts and dresses with longer lengths and the shirts with sleeves. It makes shopping a lot easier, I think!

You made huge change this year - moving from Arizona all the way across the globe to Japan! How has this change impacted your style?
I have always LOVED Japanese fashion- when I was in high school I would read lots of Japanese fashion blogs and be so inspired by their colorful, fearless style! Living here now is a total dream. I've never been so inspired in my entire life! I'm slowly trying to become more daring with my style, but I'm a bit torn and somewhat confused about how to find a balance between my style and Japanese style, and picking what I like from both ends of the spectrum! But from my most recent purchases, you can kind of notice the Japanese influence... for example, lace collars are really in right now, and I've purchased a few items with lace collars!

What is your favorite/most versatile accessory?
Right now, I really love to wear scarves in my hair, specifically, tied in a bow to the side!
