What would you consider the 5 essential items to a fashionable wardrobe?

DENIM- whether it’s a good pair of jeans (I personally love Hudson’s) or diy cut off levi’s

BOOTS BOOTS BOOTS.. pretty sure I have around 12 pairs?

Several rockin’ handbags – currently in love with my native american inspired leather thrift store find

Unique jackets/blazers (cleaning out my mama’s closet I found several that still had shoulder pads.. so  I cut them out and voila! Unique and at little to no expense)

… oh and CONFIDENCE is KEY

Where do you find inspiration for your outfits?

Errrrrrrewhere. I love how I can totally change my look depending on my mood.. and be like, “HELLO WORLD, this is who I am today.” 

With that being said, I take mental snapshots of outfits on the streets, colors in the sky and anything else that is pleasing to my eye. Being an artist of sorts-- I’m very influenced by prints, colors and the proportions of outfits. 

How does living in Orange County influence your style?

You know that effortless chic I-rolled-outta-bed-looking-this-good kinda style? Yeah, it’s definitely an art that I’ve come to master. Endless days of meetings, drives down PCH, pool hopping and late night adventures... I can’t always plan for what might come next, so I’ve got a smorgasbord-esque collection of essentials scattered around my room (and car). Boots lining the wall, daisy dukes all over the floor and bikinis dangling from the fan. I like to think it’s an organized mess.. Thankfully, my wonderful lil’ beach town is all for the laidback style and I wouldn’t have it any other way. California cool meet beach chic :)
