So, finally, after a year and a half, I have completed all my credential coursework, two student teaching placements, 3 state tests, and 4 state assessments! Whew! Now, my credential application is in and I have spent the past few weeks substitute teaching until 2014-2015 job availabilities start popping up - fingers crossed! So for the next few months, I get to teach different grades at different schools every day, and expose my "teacher style" to all the new people I meet!

Menswear Monday: Tropical

With Coachella just around the corner, I've definitely been starting to think about what outfits I can put together for the event. While perusing Pinterest for style inspiration, I've been noticing a fun (and Coachella-perfect) trend popping up in menswear - tropical shirts! I like to think of it as "Ace Ventura Chic." (Hashtag it, people.) By keeping these classic Hawaiian shirts fitted (cuffed sleeves, anyone?) and pairing them with a neutral pant/short and comfy shoes, you are good to go and enjoy the sunshine!

I've had a lot of emotional ups & downs lately, and I feel like music is always there to help and heal. Blog Birthday / Dani Birthday

January has come to mean many things to me during my time on this grand earth.
First of all, of course, it marks the new year! A fresh start, new beginnings, and another year to get it right!

My birthday also happens to be in January, so as the new calendar year greets us, so coincides a new year in my own book of life - this year happened to be lucky #27! (Any number is lucky if you just say "lucky" before it, right?)

Over the past few years, January has also come to mean something else - a "blog birthday," if you will! I can't believe I started this little gal 3 years ago as of January 10! The Daily Dani has grown, it has changed, and it is still evolving into what I hope will be a true representation of me and my style! Thank you all for following along, and hanging on for the ride, while I take my time figuring out just where my blog and I would like to be. :) Mwah!
