This was my nod to "nautical" style. Gold anchor buttons, sailor stripes, rope belt, and (even though I failed to snap a close-up of it today), a sea-themed charm bracelet. Lovely.
This necklace is a special find of mine - I got it at a random shop on Kauai on vacation when I was 18. It used to be closer to my style when I was younger, but I've never had the heart to get rid of it, and I'm glad, because it was the perfect addition to my outfit today! (I also let a 2-year-old at work wear it for a good hour, and it made her very happy, which made me very happy.)
In other news, today at work, I heard a conversation between four 3-year-olds on whether or not the villain's name is Darth Vader or "Dark Bader." You decide.
