Neon & a Band Tee

{chambray: target | tank: forever 21 | skirt: target | sandals: gap (borrowed) | necklace: nordstrom (similar) (similar)}
Sometimes, you wake up with no idea of what to wear, and a random mish-mosh turns out just fine!This neon skirt is pretty much a stand-out (and a steal!), you can never go wrong with a vintage-inspired band tee (unless you've recently accidentally seen a picture of what Axl Rose looks like in present-day and you want to cry), and a classic chambray + statement necklace are the perfect toppers to any outfit!

I wore this to work last week when the staff and PTO honored me, as it's my final year at the Early Childhood Center I've been working at for SEVEN years! I begin my elementary student teaching in the fall, so in 2 days, I have to say goodbye to this chapter of my life. It's bittersweet, but I know that this transition is the most logical next step in my life - and I'm going to try to welcome it with open arms!

  1. AWWW! How exciting that it's your last couple days at your old job! You're in for such amazing things at your brand new job! I can't wait to hear all about your student teaching when it begins this fall!

    Also, I completely know what you mean- I always grab the same 'ol dress when I don't know what to wear! I love how the neon yellow in your skirt matches the yellow in your top. Little details like that make an outfit mesh together!

  2. I love the neon and your necklace (count me in for anything involving triangles).

    Congrats on beginning your student teaching next year! Definitely bittersweet to leave somewhere you've been for so long, but I'm sure it's going to be a fabulous step forward :)
