Stylish & Versatile :D (8/30)

{Top: H&M | Jeans: William Rast | Shoes: Jeffrey Campbell | Necklace: Vintage | Ring: Juicy Couture | Scarf: Nordstrom}

So many things to write about today, so in my OCD nature, I'm going to have to list them, in a numbered format. Apologies.

1. Despite its neutral tone, I love this top! I felt like the precious little swirlies at least livened up the drabness I've felt over the past 7 days. This BRIGHT scarf I got from my best friend Holly for my 23rd birthday helped, too, as did my fabulous leopard sandals!

2. My jewelry made me smile today as well. The bouquet ring was a belated birthday gift from my bride-to-be bestie Katelyn. This necklace is also very special to me. My grandpa (Papa) was an avid coin collector. He gave my grandma (Mommo) this ancient Chinese coin replica, and it was probably the first piece I "acquired" from her many years ago.

3. If you can enlarge the photo of my fingernails, check out the dazzling pinkalicious glittery perfection I now get to look at on my hands thanks to Sally Hansen's Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips. They're amazing! They're basically strips of polish (totally dry, not wet or really sticky) that you peel off, stick on, and file onto your nails. The entire process (buffing, selecting the correct size, and filing down) took me a grand total of about 10 minutes, and they're supposed to  to last for 10 days! (Will keep you all posted on how they hold up!) At about $10 for a set, they're cheaper than a manicure, super easy, and I don't have to listen to a stranger tell me that my nail is "naturally crooked" or ask me if I have a boyfriend.

4. Whew! I am sooo honored to have been awarded the Stylish & Versatile blogger awards by Amy W of  In My Closet! What a sweetheart!

As a recipient, I am supposed to blog 7 facts about myself, and then nominate 7 more chickadees to receive the award! How fun!

1. I have an unusual obsession with baby dinosaurs.
2. I could listen to Hanson all-day, every day, and would kill to see them in concert again (for the 5th time).
3. I know every word to Clueless, and I can't really help but recite them when I watch it, which I imagine is very annoying.
4. I believe that there is nothing scarier than a clown.. besides live turkeys. :(
5. I love Sex & The City, and I can pretty much answer any trivia question you throw at me. I own the entire series, as well as the movies, on DVD, and I still watch at least an episode everyday.
6. Improper grammar, spelling, and pronunciation top my list of pet peeves.
7. I am constantly on the search to find out which Disney character I could work as at Disneyland. I've gathered that I'm too short to be a princess, but too tall to be a mouse. :(
