I'm kiiiind of obsessed with this shirt. The harder, more masculine edge of a short-sleeved chambray button down combined with the feminine touch of a Peter Pan collar? Perfection! I found that it was perfectly complimented by the most adorable bow flats, and also by my raging knee sunburn.

Pretty Preppy

Remember when I said I can't let go of that eclectic edge when I try on preppy style? Well, I guess I figured out exactly how to let it go! I went full-on prep, from the Peter Pan collar to the bow flats, right up to my side part. (Truth be told, the side part was accidental. I just woke up that way and was too tired to change it.) I am so loving this preppy vibe!

Peter Pan Collar

I am slightly obsessed with Peter Pan collars right now. It's taken me awhile to embrace this trend for my body, because they usually accompany button-down blouses, which tend to gape at my chest. I was so stoked to find this flattering silhouette with a precious little ditsy floral print! I am now obsessed with finding more figure-flattering Peter Pan collars, and with upping the femininity in my style!

I may have worn this to work in 6th grade on the windiest day of the year and had it almost blow up and flash some 12-year-olds about 50x. But I lucked out and kept it all under control. I may also have worn it again to dinner and shopping with my friend Sara. I may also have then worn it again to go to my friend Ashley's baby shower! And I may also have just done laundry and be planning to wear it again very, very soon…
