Here is the re-written Flashback Friday that Blogger lost in the abyss while I was out of town!

There's something about this picture that I just love. It begins with the fact that I am super tan! Haha. But really, what's great about this photo is the combination of my surfer-girl-esque look with the emo boys strolling next to me! Typical Orange County! ;)

Honestly, how stunning is this sunset on the beach? Sometimes I forget how lucky I am to live where I do!

Flashback Friday: ASB Banquet 5/2003

Moving on, this was what I wore to the ASB Banquet when I got "inducted" at the end of 10th grade. I used to LOVE this outfit. I mean LOVE. I also happened to wear it to Confirmation a couple weeks before in 10th grade. Seriously, you guys, have you ever been to a Gap outlet? If not, find your nearest one, and get a running start. You will come out with hundreds of dollars worth of ish for probably 25% of the cost. Some outlets stink, but Gap outlets are keepers! Ok, now find one and go!

Flashback Friday: Winter Formal 2/2002

Talk about a flashback! This is one of the oldest digital photos I have! This was my first formal dance with my first boyfriend, from Freshman year of high school! Did anyone else get almost every high school dance dress from Windsor? I sure did! I also have to admit I am very impressed at the level of matching we accomplished with that vest & bow tie. Oh, the magic of being 15 years old.

I got a lot of positive feedback from my first Flashback Friday post last week, and I was wondering if anyone else would be interested in participating in their own Flashback Fridays? Flashback Friday: Rosarito 8/2007

I thought I'd add a cute new feature to The Daily Dani - Flashback Fridays! Every Friday, I'll throw up an outfit from the past. I always think it's interesting to see how style can evolve over time. This is what I wore on a night out during our girls' trip in Rosarito, Mexico for my friend Karla's 20th birthday - I can't believe it was 4 years ago already! It felt very easy vacation-y to me. This is also around the time when I said I'd never cut my bangs again. Guess I forgot! ;)

Something about this photo always cracks me up. It was a beautiful summer sunset on the beach the summer between my Sophomore & Junior year of high school. I was wearing a denim mini skirt, which is funny in itself. I also love the juxtaposition between the fact that I was tan and blonde and that these emo boys are pasty pale with jet-black hair. Welcome to Orange County.
