This is one of the comfiest outfits I've probably ever worn. From the easy tee to the boyfriend jeans to the sneakz, what could have been better? I may have (definitely did) even worn this 2 days in a row because it was so easy, simple, and casual classic! From dinner to breakfast to lunch to a night out at the Hollywood Bowl, this ensemble certainly held up! After dressing up and ignoring my aching feet Monday-Friday, weekends are reserved for sandals, sneakers, and all things comfy!

Despite what appears to be 6:30am misery on my face (thank you, Daylight Savings...), I really liked this outfit! I paired bright red with bright yellow, and then balanced it all out with some neutral army green, black leather, and white sneaks. It's also possible that this dress is actually supposed to be a shirt/tunic, but hey, I'm 5'2" and I'll take what I can get.

Dainty Collar

This dainty little crocheted doily of a collar belongs to a sheer, daisy-printed peplum tank that I got over the summer. After purchasing, I realized peplums aren't quite the right silhouette for my body, but something told me not to get rid of the tank - and now I know why! I randomly decided to throw the tank on underneath my favorite super-soft sweatshirt. I wanted to add a feminine touch to an otherwise less-than-feminine outfit. Another dose of sporty chic, no?

Flashback to Valentine's Day! I love few things more than a sparkly red heart, so I tend tend to enjoy a little theme dressing for V-Day! This Hello Apparel sweatshirt caught my eye awhile ago, and I finally bought it, and then I waited for this special occasion to rock it! Now I'm not sure how I'm going to stop myself from wearing it on the daily!

These pants were another long-ago purchase. I bought them over the summer, but seriously slacked on getting them hemmed. Then I finally bit the bullet and just cut off the extra foot of fabric. Sure, they may unravel, but in the heat of the moment, it seemed like the best idea. ;)

I'm always inspired by chic sports fan looks... this might not be one of them. No, while it's not one of the slobby sports gear looks I see at games time and again, it's not exactly pushing the envelope on chicness. Just a casual, comfortable look for Sunday brunch with my dad! (I'll do my best to pull out the chic stops when baseball season comes back around!)

Pumpkin Scarf + New White Converse

Oh boy, I love my new Converse. I'd forgotten how comfortable a classic sneaker really is! There are only 2 minor problems:

1. They are so stinkin' white! For the only time ever, I'm actually encouraging the kids at work to step on my feet! (But trust me, they don't really need any encouragement haha.)
2. With my new short hair and these sneaks, I keep fearing that I won't look feminine enough! I feel like if I don't completely embrace girly, I have to go the opposite and try to pull off boyish. Sigh. How do you all style your Converse?

But don't get me wrong - I LOVE THEM!
