Style - Coast to Coast: Monochromatic

Hey everyone! Sarah and I are back with this month's Style Coast to Coast! For may, we decided to try out monochromatic looks! I have to be honest with you: this challenge definitely challenged me - even though I chose it! As I tried putting together looks (and I tried many), I started to really - I rarely ever wear monochromatic outfits! Turns out, I usually either mix prints, color clash, or just pair things with denim - so I had a super difficult time keeping it to one color! I tried an all-black look, but it just didn't work for me... so I finally settled on using denim as my "blue" tone. I feel like I cheated a little, but gimme a break - turns out I'm a color queen! ;)

I think that even though I struggled, using the chambray for blue-on-blue was a good choice for me! You can never have too much chambray, in my opinion! But that's probably because I have 2 dresses, a skirt, and way too many shirts... Anyway... I think a chambray dress, a navy blazer, and a no-fuss pair of neutral sandals are great, versatile wardrobe staples anyone should have in their closet!

Now, onto Sarah's fabulosity..

Heavens to Elizabeth, Sarah is so sassified in this outfit! She is a '70s-inspired peachy keen queen, isn't she?! She most certainly excelled at this monochromatic challenge! The fun pattern, the peach tones combined with the reddish-orange, and her radical frames definitely make this outfit a major stand-out! Make sure you head over to Think Twice Style to see what Sarah has to say about monochrome!

We'd love it if you'd spread the word about Style: Coast to Coast by pinning our image below! :)

Now, it's your turn! Link-up here with your own monochromatic looks!
Turns out the link-up tool is having some trouble gracing The Daily Dani with its presence, so pleeeease head over to Think Twice Style to link-up while we work on the technical difficulties! :)

P.S. Our next link-up is going to be on June 26, and the theme is going to be Americana - just in time for the 4th of July! See you then!
