I fell in love with Tilly & the Wall when I saw them open for Rilo Kiley at the Glass House in Pomona my senior year of high school! All of their songs were just super happy and catchy. They were fantastic and I went home and bought the CD immediately! Coolest part? That's not drumming you hear... it's tap dancing!
(My friends and I performed this at "Java Night" - aka our school's version of a little open mic night - our senior year, maracas and tambourines in hand... I will now be frantically searching for video recording of this night!)
And then there's the wonderful children's story of the same name, by Leo Lionni. Tillie doesn't tap dance in the story, but she sure perseveres.
