Chilly Chambray

I wore this a couple weeks ago to my cousin's surprise 60th birthday party! Not only was she surprised out of her mind, the party was super lovely! The party was at a winery out in Malibu, so there was a cocktail hour (that I froze through) beforehand, and then an absolutely lovely dinner inside following.

I love chambray, and I love a chambray dress even more. I was glad I paired this with the tights and boots, because it dressed it up a little and kept me less freezing than I would have been without! I underestimated the dress code, which is unlike me! The chambray had me feeling a little more casual than I'd have liked (a lot of the attendees were in cocktail dresses - oops!), but I still liked the outfit in general! I think this dress is going to be a great layering piece throughout this winter!
