I wasn't kidding yesterday when I said I woke up determined to wear polka dots! When I changed to go out for drinks in Orange Circle, I was yet again certain I had to wear polka dots! I was actually even going to repeat the rainbow collar, but got a little gun-shy on that buttoned all the way up to the top of the neck trend.
I'm usually pretty nervous about my shirt-to-shorts proportional ratio, but I guess I let that slide this time. At certain angles, I guess I looked like I wasn't wearing pants, as a very kind gentleman felt the need to point out to me at the bar. And by gentleman, I mean severely rude individual.
Anyway, I love this sheer blouse and its velvet-y polka dots!
Love this outfit (I think your shirt to shorts ratio is fine!) super cute. I'm new to the blog but it seems like your signature pose is leaning forward like that. You should stand up straight, it makes you look so much more confident about what you're wearing! (http://dailydaniblog.blogspot.com/2011/07/dont-worry-be-happy-now-2030.html Look, see! I know you can!)
ReplyDeleteI am so obsessed with polka dots and that blouse is such a statement piece. They give every look that special touch. Great pairing with the denim shorts. Some black biker boots would have looked great with it :-)
