Country bumpkin. (22/30)

{Top: Zara | Skirt: Fashion Young | Sandals: JustFab | Sunglasses: Juicy Couture}
Here is my obligatory 4th of July post. Nope, I didn't wear red, white, and blue. This is unlike me, honestly, because I tend to spend my Independence Days in patriotic stars and stripes, riding bikes up and down the beach. I also absolutely love wearing all things USA-themed, no matter the time of year. However, since most of my July 4th was spent in the car with my madre driving back from Las Vegas, I didn't really get wrapped up in this year's festivities.

FYI, these photos were taken in-between Marilyn Monroe-esque, wind-blown, skirt-up-around-my-head moments...

I did, however, pay homage to our country by dressing... well... country. Remember the other day when I asked how to style this top without looking like Mary-Ann from Gilligan's Island? Well, this isn't how!

Happy belated 4th of July, friends!

  2. I am such a country gal at heart so this look is right up my alley! I especially love those JustFab sandals! Yay we are both almost done the 30x30!

  3. This outfit is super cute. I don't think you look like Mary Ann from Gilligan's island at all in this outfit. Now if you tied your shirt and shorten your skirt then you might have a problem.
